Shipping

How do you ship merchandise?

Merchandise will we shipped in the UK by Parcelforce or DPD and by UPS, FedEx or DHL to all other destinations. All orders will require a signature on delivery so please make sure you supply a delivery address where you know someone will be available to sign for your package.

Which countries do you ship to ?

We ship goods all over the world. Select your region from the list on the check out page of LIVINGBOX, or if you require assistance prior to placing an order contact us directly via e mail nina@livingbox.co.uk

What are your shipping charges?

UK mainland deliveries are FREE for all orders over £50.00. Orders under £5.00 incur a small order surcharge including delivery of £6.00 prices are inclusive of VAT.

For overseas orders, the shipping charge will be calculated on weight, number of items and destination, however the best way to see the actual charge is to add your items to the shopping basket and select the delivery location; at which point the shipping value will be displayed automatically. nb - on occasion we may need to adjust overseas delivery rates for heavy or oversized parcels however no change will be made prior to consent from the customer.

If you are happy to proceed with your order after viewing your shopping cart, please enter payment details as instructed and then submit your order for processing.

How long do you take to deliver?

This varies by supplier however if we have the items you require in stock it normally takes 3-4 days. If you require an estimate on delivery before you place your order please contact us for further information.

Why do you give sizes in metric and imperial?

We try to accommodate the needs of all of our shoppers so when possible we give measurements in both metric and imperial. Where both sizes appear, the metric size is accurate and the imperial size is approximate. (metric sizes are given to the nearest centimeter or 0.1 litre)

How do I make a purchase?

Browse the site using our department, brand or general search options to find the products you require. Enter the number of items you require for each item in the quantity field and then click on "add to basket" button to put the items in your shopping basket.

Once you have finished browsing the product lists, please click on the "checkout" button at the top right of the screen to view your items prior to order confirmation. At this stage all applicable taxes will be added along with shipping charges as appropriate to give you a total sales order value. Items can still be added or deleted to your basket as required.

When you are ready to place your order, click on the "checkout" button to confirm your order and then enter your card payment and delivery details as instructed.

After you have placed your order, you will receive an email from LIVINGBOX confirming your order details.

Can I buy items that are not shown on your website?

We regularly update our website to bring you the best and latest offers from our suppliers, however if you require a product that you are unable to find or that we don't currently supply, please let us know by emailing nina@livingbox.co.uk and we will do whatever we can to assist.

Money

When do you charge my credit card?

In order to secure your order and to provide the best customer service, all payments are processed at the time of order placement.

Do your prices include V.A.T?

All main prices on our web site are displayed including VAT (Sales Tax), however if goods are to be delivered outside of the EU, we will deduct UK sales tax when you select the delivery destination.

All taxes and shipping charges will be added to your order as appropriate in your shopping basket, however for information; you will be able to see the total sales value before you confirm your order.

We are registered for VAT in the United Kingdom, our VAT number is 946 3207 21.

Will I have to pay customs/import duty?

No import duty will be charged if you live in the UK or EU, however some other countries do impose an import duty and we would therefore suggest you contact your local authorities for further information.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit/debit cards including Visa, MasterCard, Switch/Maestro and Solo, however at this point in time we do not currently accept American Express

Do you have a pricing policy?

At LIVINGBOX we continually review our pricing to ensure that we give our customers good value, however if you find a product that we supply at a lower price on another site, please bring it to our attention at nina@livingbox.co.uk

All card payments are processed via secure on line software and servers, ensuring that you data is safe, secure and private at all times.

Do you have a privacy policy?

Yes, Livingbox respects the privacy of our customers and therefore we do not sell, loan or rent our customer details to anyone.

If you have chosen to opt in to our mailing list facility, we will occasionally contact you in order to make you aware of the latest products or special offers, however if you change your mind and don't want us to contact you at all, you can remove yourself from our mailing list by sending an e mail to nina@livingbox.co.uk with the word "remove" in the subject field.

Returns

How do I cancel my order if I have not yet received the goods?

If for any reason you wish to cancel you order before you receive your goods, please contact us immediately by emailing nina@livingbox.co.uk quoting your name and order number.

Please note, we are unable to cancel orders where the products are made specially to order and the manufacturer has already commenced production.

What is your returns policy?

If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, please contact livingbox within 7 days of receipt of the goods via nina@livingbox.co.uk and state clearly if you would like a refund or an exchange.

Please note any standard product may be returned within 7 days of receipt as long as the item remains in perfect condition and with all of its original packaging.

We can refund the price of any item (less a 10% administration fee - minimum £10) however shipping costs and any associated import duties are non refundable.

Items made specially to order are non refundable

We can also exchange an item for you; however any replacement item will be subject to our standard shipping charges.

Once the return has been authorised we will issue you with a returns number and details of where the goods should be returned to, however please be aware that you are responsible for the safe return of the goods to LIVINGBOX and the cost of shipping and insurance.

When we receive the goods back at LIVINGBOX we will process your refund or send exchanged goods as soon as possible, as per your instructions.

Note - No goods should be returned to LIVINGBOX without first contacting us for a returns authorisation number

What happens if my goods arrived damaged?

In the unlikely event that something arrives damaged or faulty; please contact LIVINGBOX within 7 days of receipt of the goods via nina@livingbox.co.uk and state clearly the full nature of the problem.

Once the return has been authorised we will issue you with a returns number and details of where the goods should be returned to, however please be aware that you are responsible for the safe return of the goods to LIVINGBOX and the cost of shipping and insurance.

When we receive the damaged goods, we will arrange for replacement goods to be sent as soon as possible and will also arrange for reimbursement of your return shipping costs and insurance through our insurers

If returned faulty items are found upon receipt by LIVINGBOX to be in "perfect" condition, the replacement items will be subject to a postage charge and may be subject to an administration fee. We will also be unable to refund your return shipping and insurance costs.

Note - No goods should be returned to LIVINGBOX without first contacting us for a returns authorisation number.
